The Neshaminy watershed nourishes your local community in Bucks County with fresh water, scenic beauty and as a place for recreational activity. Watersheds are precious resources that transport clean water to many people in Pennsylvania, offer a beautiful landscape of trees and water and provide homes and resources for all types of aquatic and land-based life.
Your Neshaminy watershed is under pressure today from the impacts of storm water runoff, local real estate development, agricultural fertilizers and pesticides and single point pollution sources.
The mission of the Neshaminy Watershed Association is to conserve and enhance the water quality and natural resources of the watershed, support improved stormwater management in local communities and coordinate restoration efforts in the Neshaminy watershed.
We believe strongly in volunteerism, and welcome those in our community who have an interest in volunteering their time to help us improve the watershed.
From time to time, we organize projects that you can participate in. Projects like tree plantings, streamside cleanups and citizen science related activities.
Please visit our events page to see a list of projects and activities that you can help us perform. Contact us if you have any questions.
Please provide your name and contact information if you would like to get involved in supporting the Neshaminy Watershed Association through volunteering for events or making financial contributions that benefit the watershed.
